Armcon Ltd., Europe’s leading builders of volumetric concrete mixers, have announced that their workshop facilities are now available to owners and operators of all makes of volumetric mixer.

They are the only manufacturer in Britain with the facility to offer such a service and are able to accommodate any job from major accident damage on behalf of insurance companies to minor mechanical repairs. All work is guaranteed and, in addition to a comprehensive stock of components for their own Cementech units, they can also supply all other genuine parts.

“Our aim is for every volumetric in the UK with a problem to come through these doors,” says Armcon’s Service Director, Nigel Boswell. “One of the main benefits of re-locating to these premises is the extensive workshop space they provide. It allows us to handle very large jobs like fabricating entire new side panels and, of course, it enables us to keep an unrivalled stock of parts on site. To the best of our knowledge, none of our competitors is able to offer all-makes work: they tend to use outside bodybuilders and truck workshops – even for their own machines. Our in-house, drive-in facility, combined with our size and experience, means we can get machines rectified quickly, keeping costs to a minimum and returning them to profitable service with the assurance that the work will be done to a very high standard.”

Armcon are already preferred repairers of volumetric mixers for a number of major plant insurers, including NFU Mutual, and have completed high-value remedial work to the entire satisfaction of the underwriters and operators.
