| An existing customer in Cheshire has taken delivery of two new Cementech machines. The company realised 16 years ago, the potential of a machine that could move from site to site and was capable of delivering the exact amount of concrete required. "If a customer estimates 2m³ but actually needs 1.8m³, this is the quantity dispensed and charged for." |

The new machines are the MCD8-MX100, with the capacity to produce 8m³ of finished concrete before refilling, at a delivery rate up to 1m³ in 2½ minutes. The 8m³ machines were chosen as replacements since the company make a lot of deliveries of 1m³. Whereas their previous 5m³ units allowed five drops before returning to the depot, the new machine will enable another three deliveries to be made, offering significant operating economies and increased customer service. |
Commenting on the retirement of their eldest machine the Financial Director said: “There have been advances in technology since we bought it, and we want to keep abreast of the times and profit from the extra capacity and higher throughput machines available today. The machine has demonstrated excellent reliability, and the good service provided by Armcon. Even after 16 years of service, we were not surprised that it had good trade-in value.” |
